Thanks to YOU and YOUR donations to the annual fund, the AVC was able to complete a remodel on the kitchen! After taking input from the actives, the old kitchen was identified as the area/room that they most wanted to have renovated. Alumnus Justin Neff was put in charge of the project and worked closely with Menard’s and C & J Renovations to get the work done. All old cabinets were removed and replaced, the sink was removed and replaced, the lighting was changed to recessed, and the floor was ripped up and redone (we also found out that the subfloor was fine and didn’t need any work (thankfully)). Remaining to be done is: replacing the stove, adding a range-hood microwave, and replacing the curtains.

We were also able to purchase and install a commercial grade washer/dryer for the house.
