Another School Year is Upon Us!

Greetings all and welcome to our first update/news/blog post.

I hope you enjoy our new site and I hope you have found some use out of the “Alumni Search” function.  We will be trying to communicate a little better with our alumni through this site, and hope you stop back on occassion to keep updated on your home chapter.  I see that several brothers have submitted items in the “Brother to Brother” section as well.  That’s awesome!

On Sunday, the 2014-2015 school year got kicked off with Move-In Day.  Indiana Eta, of course, was on-hand to help freshmen and returning students to get settled in their new homes.  The actives were joined by alumnus Chris ‘Chico’ Brown and reported that things went very well.  A big-time focus this year will be placed on recruitment and the guys said that we’ve met several men that have already expressed interest in joining and we’ll be pursuing them actively!  We’ll be continuing to work on and meeting new men leading up to Rush Week (Sept. 22 to 26) and hope for a great recruitment year!

We’ve also been hard at work putting some of those 50th donations to good use.  In particular, the Chapter room has been revamped and reorganized allowing for 13 people to be seated comfortably in it.  Another big time change is the sleeping quarters which has been converted to a study area with some generous donations from Indiana Tech.  Here are some pictures of the work that’s been done.  Thanks for visiting!
