On November 24, 2014, the actives of Indiana Eta held a pitch-in Thanksgiving feast in which they were providing a ham and a turkey and asked that the invitees bring a side dish or desert to share.  Now, I remember the type of food that I ate while I was in college so I was not too sure of what to expect.  But I must say that I was pleasantly surprised!  Upon entering the house, I was bombarded with new members wanting to introduce themselves to me.  They actually formed a line in front of me!  I couldn’t help but to feel prideful!  Once the introductions and catching up conversations were completed, I was blown away by the spread that was laid out in the kitchen!  There was enough food to feed an army here and when I stop to think about it, that is pretty much what we are!  The food was delicious, the company was awesome and the experience was that of family.  I truly hope that this event happens again in the future!
